2K Hires Apex Legends Producer to Rescue Struggling Hero Shooter Project Ethos

The renowned publisher has appointed a seasoned producer from Respawn Entertainment to oversee the studio crew at 31st Union, which is currently working on the upcoming third-person action-packed title known as this innovative game.

Management Change Follows Mixed Response

The new appointee steps into the role of studio head at 31st Union following the dismissal of previous head the ex-Sledgehammer Games executive, who was removed from his post due to Project Ethos' disappointing unveiling last autumn.

On Wednesday, the company's top executive David Ismailer informed team members about this organizational change through an internal memo, which highlighted that playtesting had revealed the need for a more defined vision.

Ismailer stated that the team is now refining Project Ethos with a revised approach, aiming to address player expectations.
